Different Alpharetta people directories answer different questions. A city roster can identify a public official or department, while a school directory narrows a current staff role. Property and business indexes connect names with parcels or companies, and historical directories place past residents in the older Milton County setting. Browse Alpharetta directories by first deciding whether the person is tied to government, education, land, a licensed profession, or local history. No single search includes every resident. The strongest result comes from the directory whose keeper has a reason to record that relationship, followed by a second official source that confirms the name, date, and role.

Alpharetta People Directory Choices

Alpharetta people directories are split among city, county, school, state, and historical keepers. Each describes a specific tie. A staff roster shows a public role. A property roll names the assessed owner, while a business index may name an officer or registered agent. Historical volumes and archive catalogs can place a past resident in a household, firm, church, school, or community file.

Begin with the keeper closest to the role. Public staff and school searches are current rosters, not resident lists. The assessor and deed indexes describe ownership or a recorded transaction. Older Alpharetta people directories require the local historical society or Fulton library collections, with care not to turn Atlanta-only holdings into local coverage.

Alpharetta Government Directory Search

The Alpharetta Staff Directory mixes employee and department entries. It is free, needs no login, and initially displays 30 items in two columns. Searchers can filter by content type and 21 categories, including City Clerk, City Council, Community Development, Court Services, Finance, Fire, Police, Public Works, and Recreation and Parks. A current title or category is often more useful than a broad surname.

The city search should not be assumed to publish a direct phone, email, or office for every result because those staff-card fields could not be verified in the research capture. Separate city government rosters cover the mayor, council, boards, and commissions. Department pages are the fallback when a person is not indexed.

Alpharetta School Staff Directories

The Alpharetta High School directory supports keyword, first-name, and last-name searches. A role word such as principal can locate administrators when the person's name is unknown. The inspected directory contained 183 constituents across two result pages. It covered teachers, counselors, assistant principals, a registrar, school data staff, clinic and security staff, paraprofessionals, food-service staff, and custodial roles.

The official Alpharetta High directory appears below before any broader school search.

A verified sample entry showed a display name, the title Teacher-High School, and an institutional email. It did not show a home address, personal phone, personnel file, or employee number. Use the Fulton County Schools directory to identify the right campus first.

The district list connects school names and locations to campus directories. No official public alumni directory was verified, so yearbooks and alumni material require library or historical-society catalog research.

Georgia Directories Serving Alpharetta

Team Georgia begins as an agency directory, not a universal employee-name box. Its main view reported 83 agencies and provides text filtering plus grid and list displays. Agency cards can show an official site, main phone, and street or mailing address. This route is best when the agency is known but the staff member is not.

The Team Georgia print directory adds named employee rows grouped by agency. Published columns are employee name, title, email, and phone.

The print view is the direct person-level companion to the agency cards. If contact data is absent, Team Georgia directs users to Georgia.gov or 1-800-GEORGIA. No official countywide Fulton employee-name directory was verified, so county department pages are safer than assuming one exists.

Alpharetta Property Name Directories

The Fulton assessor roll works like an owner directory. Its property search accepts owner name, parcel ID, or property address. A card may contain owner and mailing address, parcel and situs address, values, class, acreage, exemptions, sales, building details, and map links. The owner mailing address may differ from the Alpharetta parcel address and does not prove residence.

Situs
The physical location of the parcel.
Mailing address
The destination for tax correspondence, which may belong to an owner, agent, or service.
Grantee
The party receiving title in a recorded deed, not necessarily the current occupant.
Directory occupant
The person listed at an address in a directory edition, a dated claim that needs confirmation.

Recorded deeds offer a different name directory through the GSCCCA index, which can search grantors and grantees in Fulton instruments. An index hit is not a whole deed or proof of present ownership. Detailed access and copy rules belong with Alpharetta public records.

Alpharetta Business Name Directories

The Georgia eCorp business search finds entities by business name, control number, registered agent, officer, or designated agent. Officer and agent searches make it a strong people directory. Results can show entity type, status, principal office, agent address, formation date, jurisdiction, annual registrations, and digitized filings. A registered agent may serve many unrelated firms, so that role is not proof of ownership or residence.

Professional directories depend on the regulator. The Secretary of State verification portal accepts profession, license type, partial first or middle name, last name, and license number. Other professions belong to the Medical Board, State Bar, educator certification commission, real estate commission, or another named board. A result may show credential type, number, status, dates, and public orders.

Alpharetta's license-renewal lookup is a contrast. It needs an existing Account ID and bill year, so it verifies a known city account rather than browsing businesses by person. State eCorp supports officer or agent discovery; the city tool confirms an already identified local license account.

Historic Alpharetta People Directories

The Alpharetta and Old Milton County Historical Society books list verifies Polk's Roswell-Alpharetta City Directory for 1966 and 1972. Those are the only exact local years supported by the published holdings. No authoritative description confirms that either volume contains a reverse, or address-to-occupant, section. The volumes must be checked rather than labeled criss-cross directories without proof.

The local volumes bridge a key catalog break. Alpharetta belonged to Milton County until the merger with Fulton took effect in 1932. Names before that point may sit under Milton County, Birmingham, Crabapple, Hopewell, Newtown, Ocee, or another community term. The archive also holds marriage books for 1865 through 1931, cemetery sources, family histories, newspapers, and school and church subject files.

Alpharetta Archive Name Directories

AOMCHS turns more than bound directories into searchable name evidence. Nearly 2,000 scanned photos and documents are cataloged in PastPerfect by subject, title, name, date, collection, contributor, folder, and storage container. Family histories, video interviews, cemetery inscriptions, historic-home books, original newspapers, and over 200 subject files can link people across schools, churches, commerce, war service, and north Fulton communities.

The archive occupies the basement of the preserved Log Cabin at 210 Milton Avenue. The cabin was built in 1934 and 1935 by the Milton High School Future Farmers of America chapter, then saved and moved with city and donor help. That student-built local artifact now houses temperature-controlled records about generations of Alpharetta people. Published research hours are Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., excluding listed holidays, or by appointment through aomcharchives@gmail.com.

That long run belongs to Atlanta and must not be presented as continuous Alpharetta coverage. Central Library Special Collections still helps with county histories, census microfilm, cemetery records, newspapers, and licensed genealogy tools. The local Polk volumes remain the verified Alpharetta directory source.
